RSS is an acronym that stands for Really Simple Syndication. But what does this mean to you?
Simply put, RSS allows visitors to dynamically retrieve content from a Web site they are interested in... without even visiting it.
Users can employ a third-party service known as an RSS Feed Reader or RSS News Aggregator to compile new and updated content from RSS-enabled websites and display it all in one place for you to view easily. These services can be used to compile news from any page that has an RSS icon (at right) located either on the page itself or up in the address bar of your Web browser.
