NAPERVILLE, Ill. — At 1:39 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, Naperville’s Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) received a call from a resident reporting that the back of their home was on fire. Naperville 911(PSAP) dispatched a general alarm assignment consisting of 10 pieces of fire apparatus and 24 personnel, including an incident commander and incident safety officer, to the reported address.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Two firefighters were treated for heat-related injuries. One of those was released on scene and one was transported to Edward Hospital in stable condition. In addition, one of the residents was treated on scene and released.
