Naperville Man Charged with Two Counts of First-Degree Murder in Domestic Related Homicide

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — On Sunday, July 7, 2024, Naperville Investigators secured an arrest warrant for two counts of First Degree Murder ( Class X Felonies) on Zokir S. Kudratov, 55 (d.o.b. 06/17/1969 ) of the 2500 block of Saddlebrook Drive, Naperville.

It is alleged that on the morning of July 6, 2024, Zokir Kudratov was at his home on Saddlebrook Drive when an argument ensued between him and his ex-wife, who resided at the same home but on a different floor. During the argument, it is alleged that Zokir Kudratov stabbed his ex-wife numerous times with a knife he had on his person. Naperville Police and Naperville Fire personnel arrived on scene a short time after the stabbing occurred. The victim was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased by hospital staff at 1:49 p.m.

After conducting a preliminary investigation Naperville Police Officers arrested Mr. Kudratov. He was held at the Naperville Police Department pending further investigation. Mr. Kudratov was transported to the Will County Jail after being charged and is scheduled to appear at a detention hearing on Wednesday, July 10, 2024.

The Naperville Police wish to remind the public and the news media that a charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
