Naperville Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Route 59 Business
On Friday, July 19, 2024, at approximately 5:03 a.m., the Naperville Police Department responded to a business in the 4900 block of S. Route 59 for a report of an armed robbery that had occurred approximately 10 minutes earlier. The offender, armed with a handgun, reportedly stole U.S. currency from the business and a necklace from an employee. No one was injured during this incident.
The suspect is described as a male wearing black pants, a black hooded shirt, black gloves and a mask. Additional identifying information is unknown at this time.
The offender reportedly left the area on foot, but the preliminary investigation indicates the suspect may have been dropped off at the location in a white sedan.
