New Procedures
The City implemented new check-in procedures at the Municipal Center (City Hall). Your safety and convenience are a priority. Thank you for your patience during this transition. For more information, read the media release, Manager’s Memorandum, Visitor Management Policy and FAQ.
Hours of Operation
General Hours of Operation:
- 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Closed Saturday and Sunday
Finance Department:
- In-person hours
- 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Call Center hours for billing/payment questions
- 7 a.m. - 7 p.m., Monday through Friday
- 8 a.m. to noon, Saturday
Community Services Department:
- 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday
Building Permit Counter:
- 9 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday through Friday
Holiday Closures
The Municipal Center will be closed in observance of the following holidays. The specific date for the Municipal Center closure is subject to the day of the week upon which the holiday falls:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Veterans Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Day After Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- Christmas Day
Additional Information
A 24-hour depository box located on the lower level of the parking deck provides after-hour and holiday convenience for paying utility bills.
Naperville's Customer Care Center is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and should be contacted for electric outages or other related emergencies at (630) 420-6060.

Visitor Access & Parking
Visitors to the Municipal Center are required to use the building’s main entrance facing Aurora Avenue. Visitor parking, including accessible parking for people with disabilities, is available on the top level of the Municipal Center parking deck. There is one additional row of public parking, including several accessible parking spaces, available on the lower level of the parking deck, but there is no public entrance into the building from this level. Room Reservations
The Municipal Center has several meeting areas that are available for rental to local groups and organizations.

Lobby Displays
The lobby space in the Naperville Municipal Center is designed for short-term (no more than 14 days) displays by units of local government only. Scheduling display space is the responsibility of the City Manager’s Office. Download a request form and return the completed form to Julie Dumler, Administrative Assistant – City Manager’s Office, dumlerj@naperville.il.us.
Flag Poles
Flag poles at the Municipal Center and other City-owned buildings are used to display local, state and federal government flags or U.S. Military flags, including those for prisoners of war.
