Tree pickup will take place on Saturday, April 19 at the Public Works Service Center, 180 Fort Hill Dr. When you arrive at the Public Works Service Center, follow the signs to the pickup area. A City staff member will greet you, bring out your purchases and load them into your car. For the safety of all, please stay in your car when picking up your tree.

Planting Your New Tree

Naperville's Forestry Division encourages residents to consider planting trees on their own property.

Please note, a tree planting permit from the Department of Public Works is required before planting a tree in a City parkway.

If you are considering planting your new tree in the parkway, please visit the Parkway Trees - Planting by Homeowners page to learn more about the process and to download a parkway tree planting permit application, which includes a list of approved trees and planting directions.

Purchase a Rain Barrel

The City, in partnership with the Conservation Foundation and Upcycle Products, continues to promote using rain barrels as a free irrigation option. Rain barrels are used to capture rainwater from your roof for reuse in watering garden spaces. Rainwater is better for plants and soil because it is free from the salts, ions and fluoride found in tap water. Just as importantly, rain barrels capture water that otherwise would run off and could harm streams and rivers.

To order a rain barrel for pick-up or delivery, visit Upcycle Products.
