Hearing and Vision

The Chicago Hearing Society provides an array of social services, advocacy, support services and assistive technology products for people who are deaf, deaf/blind or hard of hearing.

The Illinois Department of Human Services Vision Services offers programs and services that include vocational rehab, independent skills training and a business enterprise program for adults with visual impairments.

The Illinois Department of Human Services Hearing Services assists individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, late deafened or deafblind find jobs, get ready to go to work or obtain services to meet their needs.

The Naperville Noon Lions Club, part of the International Association of Lions Clubs, provides services to those individuals with sight and hearing impairments through their distribution of eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones. They also help with diabetes awareness, building homes for persons with disabilities and various youth services.

The Philip J. Rock Center and School serves children who live with both hearing and visual disabilities and their families.
