Naper Notify
The City of Naperville is committed to keeping the public safe and informed about events that impact their lives. Naper Notify allows the City to quickly and directly send messages to the public on various devices to keep them informed throughout a significant event.
Naper Notify lets you sign up to receive emergency and community messages through a phone call to your cell, home, or work phone numbers; text message; or email. You can also choose the locations you want to be contacted about so that you can receive notifications about emergencies and other events that may impact the area around your home, parents' home, workplace, and/or your child's school, as long as those locations are within the boundaries of the City of Naperville.

Emergency Notifications
Emergency notifications are sent from Naper Notify when a situation involving immediate or pending threats to health, public safety, or property has taken place and where immediate notification is necessary. These messages can be sent at any time of day or night and would notify the community of City service impacts, necessary instructions, and/or health and safety information.
Naper Notify will not provide watches or warnings for severe weather. Residents and businesses should seek weather-related information from the National Weather Service or their preferred local media outlet. It is a best practice to have a NOAA Weather Radio that broadcasts official Weather Service warnings, watches, forecasts, and other hazard information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
The National Weather Service also sends wireless emergency alerts to areas under certain weather warnings, including tornadoes. You can check your cell phone’s settings to make sure this feature is turned on.
