Records Section
The Records Section is responsible for the management and coordination of police records, which includes processing all reports, citations and warrants. Duties of the this section include:
- Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests
- Records Retention and Destruction
- Processing of Cash Payments (Bond, Fines/Fees)
- Administration of Parking System
- Transfer and Verification of Data in Records Management System
- Distribution of Department Mail
- Transmittal of Information to County Court Systems
- Records Expungements
- Records Checks
- Customer Service (In Person and Telephone)

The Records Section is open for walk-up business or by telephone at (630) 420-6157 during the following hours:
- Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- Closed Saturdays, Sundays and holidays
