Reading Buddies
Officers and local elementary students alike look forward to time together throughout the year through the Department's reading buddy program. This program provides support for student readers and fosters positive relationships between our community's youth and Naperville Police Officers.

Child Safety Seat Education and Inspections
Certified police staff members provide child safety seat inspections and education to residents to ultimately reduce the number of injuries and/or fatalities related to traffic collisions.

Naperville Police Cadet Program
The Naperville Police Department Cadet Program provides young men and women age 14 to 21 the opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement by volunteering with the Department.

Safety Town
Run by the Naperville Junior Woman's Club in cooperation with the Police and Fire Departments, this miniature town includes streets, tiny buildings, a railroad car and a classroom building.
