Snow and Ice Removal
The City handles the salting and plowing of more than 1,500 miles of roadway during winter weather. Staff uses a priority plowing system that ensures main traffic routes are addressed first, followed by residential streets, cul-de-sacs, alleys and dead ends. Staff's progress during a winter weather response can be monitored on the City's interactive snow removal map.
