Water Meter Leaks

Water meters usually do not leak unless disturbed. (Condensation is normal on all water meters.) It is a good idea to check your water meter for leaks at least once a month or more often if it is in a closet or closed-in area. All leaks from one spud nut to the other spud nut are the City’s responsibility to repair; everything else is the responsibility of the homeowner.
